The 2nd USCT will represent the 2nd and 99th USCT regiments for the annual Battle of Natural Bridge reenactment.

The reenactment commemorates the 157th anniversary of the Civil War battle which took place at the site on March 6, 1865. The Union troops were unsuccessful in their attempt to charge over the Natural Bridge providing the Confederacy a victory. Weeks later, the war ended with the Union ultimately emerging victorious.

Throughout the weekend, attendees will be able to learn the history from various perspectives, visit recreation of campsites and witness a battle reenactment. Admission is $5.00 per adult and $1.00 for school age children.

The 2nd USCT’s participation is a salute to the men of the 2nd and 99th USCT troops, and the one hundred USCT soldiers who gave the ultimate price.
